Stay: Beijing | Meals: At your own arrangement
Dear distinguished guests, welcome to the magnificent city of Beijing. Beijing is an international metropolis where ancient civilization and modern life come together. The city is home to world-famous historic sites, distinctive local customs and warm, hospitable people. We wish you a wonderful journey filled with memorable experiences and a happy return home.
Beijing Arrival & Pick-up: Our company provides complimentary station or airport pick-up. The shuttle driver will contact you by phone call or text message one day in advance. Because guests arrive at different times and Beijing traffic can be congested, some waiting time may occur during the pick-up process. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Hotel Check-in: According to hotel policy, guests may be required to pay a deposit of approximately RMB 100–300 at the front desk. If hotel property is damaged or a room card is lost, the guest will be responsible for the related compensation. If there is no damage or additional consumption, the full deposit will normally be returned at check-out according to hotel procedures. Guests may check in using the reservation name.
Today is a free-activity day. During peak travel periods, tour-group hotel rooms generally become available after 2:00 PM. Guests arriving earlier may arrange activities independently and will be checked in as soon as rooms are ready. When going out, we recommend carrying the hotel's business card with you for convenience in case assistance is needed.

Stay: Beijing | Meals: Breakfast
Begin the day with the Flag-Raising Ceremony, followed by Tiananmen Square, one of the world's largest city-center squares and a living history book of modern China. On October 1, 1949, Tiananmen witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China. The site has since become an important symbol of the country and its people.
Chairman Mao Memorial Hall: Visit the exterior or enter the memorial hall according to opening arrangements and real-name reservation availability. The memorial hall requires a real-name reservation. If the hall is closed or reservations are unavailable, the group will visit the exterior instead.
Monument to the People's Heroes: Enjoy an exterior view of this important landmark in the center of Tiananmen Square.
Forbidden City: Approximately 3 hours. Formerly known as the Forbidden City, this was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is one of the world's most famous palace complexes and one of the largest and best-preserved wooden architectural complexes in existence. The magnificent gates, halls, red walls and golden roofs reflect centuries of Chinese imperial history. The complex once covered an enormous area and today serves both as a remarkable architectural heritage site and a major repository of imperial treasures and historical records.
Qianmen Street: Approximately 1 hour. Explore a historic Beijing commercial street with traditional time-honored brands. Guests may see the Qianmen sightseeing tram, explore Dashilar, sample Beijing snacks around Xianyukou and visit Beijingfang, a popular photo and lifestyle destination.
Temple of Heaven Park · Through Ticket: The Temple of Heaven was built during the Ming dynasty and served as the imperial altar where Ming and Qing emperors performed ceremonies to Heaven, prayed for rain and prayed for good harvests. Beginning in the Yongle period, emperors made formal visits to this sacred ceremonial complex. The park is celebrated for its monumental architecture and carefully designed ritual spaces.
Chang'an Avenue Cycling: Approximately 1 hour. As evening approaches, the glazed roofs of Tiananmen and the lights of Chang'an Avenue create a striking Beijing cityscape. The route between Jianguomen and Fuxingmen forms a long urban corridor through the heart of the capital, where modern Beijing meets layers of imperial and contemporary history.
The day's attractions are located along Beijing's historic central axis, and the program involves substantial walking. This central area contains important national institutions and has strict traffic controls. Vehicles cannot stop freely in restricted or one-way areas, so waiting for the vehicle may take longer. Please prepare for considerable walking and allow flexibility in the schedule.

Stay: Beijing | Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, travel to Yanqing, approximately 90 minutes by road, for the legendary Badaling Great Wall. Allow approximately 2.5 hours for the visit. Cable car or slide services are not included and are listed at RMB 140.
The Great Wall stretches like a giant dragon across the northern landscape of China, extending through centuries of history. Badaling is one of its most celebrated sections. From the wall, guests can look across the surrounding mountains and experience dramatically changing scenery throughout the seasons: spring brings blooming flowers, summer offers lush green landscapes, autumn turns the mountains into layers of warm color, while winter creates a vast snowy panorama.
Continue to the Beijing Olympic Park, approximately 1.5 hours. The area hosted the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and was also a major venue area connected with the 2022 Winter Olympics. The National Stadium, known as the Bird's Nest, is one of Beijing's most recognizable modern landmarks. The National Aquatics Center, known as the Water Cube, stands opposite it along the central axis, creating a memorable architectural pairing of different forms.
The journey continues with an exterior view of the National Speed Skating Oval, known as the Ice Ribbon. Its design was inspired by the combination of ice and speed, with 22 ribbon-like lines suggesting the tracks left by skaters and symbolizing movement, speed and passion.
Badaling is located a considerable distance from central Beijing, and traffic leaving the city can be heavy. An early departure may be necessary. The guide will make reasonable adjustments according to traffic conditions and visitor volume on the day. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Stay: Beijing or departure arrangement | Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. The palace is centered around Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake and combines grand imperial architecture with carefully designed natural scenery.
The garden's predecessor, Qingyi Garden, was developed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in 1750. It was created in part as a magnificent imperial garden associated with the emperor's mother. The garden was severely damaged in 1860 and was later reconstructed during the late Qing period and renamed the Summer Palace.
The Summer Palace is a remarkable expression of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics. Kunming Lake evokes the atmosphere of a landscape painting, while Longevity Hill, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, the Hall of Dispelling the Clouds and other structures create a harmonious relationship between architecture and nature. Optional waterway or lake cruise services are listed at RMB 120 and are payable separately.
Continue to Yuanmingyuan Old Summer Palace · Through Ticket, approximately 1 hour. Known historically as the “Garden of Gardens”, Yuanmingyuan was celebrated for its grand scale and extraordinary landscape design. It suffered extensive destruction and looting during the conflicts of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, the remaining ruins form an important historical site and provide a powerful reminder of a significant chapter in China's modern history.
Finish with a drive-by exterior view of Tsinghua University or Peking University, two of China's best-known higher-education institutions.
The Summer Palace cruise is an optional paid activity. University visits are exterior photo stops. Travel timing may be adjusted by the guide according to traffic and visitor conditions. The supplied program includes a traffic note for the Great Wall; for Day 4, actual timing remains subject to road and attraction conditions.
