Begin on Shanghai's waterfront, move through Suzhou's garden culture and two very different Jiangnan water towns, then finish beside West Lake in Hangzhou.
Day 1 · Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai & Discover the Classic Waterfront
Arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport or your scheduled Shanghai railway station.
Your personal driver will meet you and begin your private Shanghai journey.
Visit the Shanghai City God Temple Area for an introduction to the atmosphere of Shanghai's historic old city.
Continue to The Bund, where historic waterfront architecture faces the modern skyline of Pudong across the Huangpu River.
Finish the daytime itinerary around Nanjing Road, one of central Shanghai's best-known commercial streets.
Overnight in Shanghai.
Optional Shanghai Evening Choose a Jin Mao Tower observation experience or a Huangpu River night cruise. Final arrangements depend on your selected package and local availability.
Day 2 · Shanghai → Suzhou → Wuzhen
Classical Suzhou & Wuzhen After Dark
After breakfast, leave Shanghai and travel to Suzhou.
Begin around Shantang Street, a historic canal-side district where stone bridges, waterways and traditional-style buildings introduce the character of old Suzhou.
Continue to Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the celebrated gardens included in the UNESCO-listed Classical Gardens of Suzhou.
Explore its carefully composed combination of water, architecture, rocks and planting before continuing to Wuzhen Xizha.
Spend the late afternoon and evening exploring Wuzhen's canals, bridges and illuminated waterside streets.
Overnight in Wuzhen.
Garden by Day, Water Town by Night Day 2 shifts from the precise aesthetics of a classical Suzhou garden to the atmospheric canals of Wuzhen after dark.
Day 3 · Wuzhen → Xitang → Hangzhou
Xitang Water Town & Feilai Peak
After breakfast, leave Wuzhen and continue to Xitang Ancient Town.
Walk through its historic canal-side streets, bridges and narrow lanes, experiencing another expression of the Jiangnan water-town landscape.
In the afternoon, continue to Hangzhou and visit Feilai Peak.
Explore the wooded limestone landscape and discover hundreds of historic Buddhist cliff carvings created across several dynastic periods.
Overnight in Hangzhou.
Optional Hangzhou Evening Add the Songcheng Eternal Love stage performance if you would like a larger-scale cultural show after the day's sightseeing.
Day 4 · Hangzhou → Departure
A Leisurely Morning at West Lake
Begin the final day beside West Lake, the centerpiece of the UNESCO-listed West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou.
Enjoy a relaxed walk beside the water and take in its celebrated combination of lake scenery, causeways, wooded hills and historic cultural landscapes.
Continue to Qinghefang Historic Street, where traditional-style storefronts, tea culture and local specialties provide a final taste of Hangzhou.
At the scheduled time, your personal driver will transfer you to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport or your scheduled railway station.
Your four-day Shanghai, Jiangnan water-town and Hangzhou journey comes to an end.
A Relaxed Final Morning Rather than adding another intensive sightseeing block, the final day leaves space to enjoy West Lake at a more comfortable pace before departure.
