Day 1: Welcome to Chaoshan

Arrive in the Chaoshan region and meet your pre-arranged pickup at the airport or railway station. Transfer to your hotel and settle in. The remainder of the day is kept light so you can rest after your journey or explore nearby streets at your own pace.

Day 2: Old Shantou → Nan'ao Island

Begin in Shantou's Small Park arcade district, where historic commercial buildings reflect the city's opening-port era. See Zhongshan Pavilion, Nansheng Department Store and the former Shantou Post Office building before leaving the city for the coast.

Cross Nan'ao Bridge and stop at Changshanwei Lighthouse, one of the island's most recognizable coastal viewpoints. The day's route balances urban heritage with sea views and a slower small-group pace.

Nan

Day 3: Qing'ao Bay → Chaozhou Ancient City

Start at Nan'ao Island's Tropic of Cancer marker before continuing to Qing'ao Bay, a broad coastal area known for open sea views and sandy shoreline. After the island experience, continue toward Chaozhou.

Visit the Thai Buddha Hall associated with Kaiyuan Temple, view Guangji Bridge from the riverfront, and explore the ancient city. Walk through Paifang Street and finish with Kaiyuan Temple, one of the city's most recognizable historic religious sites.

Day 4: Longhu Ancient Village & Jieyang
