Arrive in the Chaoshan region and meet your private pickup at the airport or railway station. Transfer directly to your hotel in Shantou and check in. The rest of the day is free, giving you time to rest or explore nearby streets at your own pace.

Day 2: Mayu Island & Nan'ao Coastal Escape

Start at Mayu Island before crossing the spectacular Nan'ao Bridge. Continue to Changshanwei Lighthouse, the Tropic of Cancer marker and Qing'ao Bay Coastal Tourism Area. With a private vehicle and small group, the day is designed to feel more relaxed than a standard coach itinerary.

Day 3: Ancient Chaozhou & Intangible Cultural Heritage

Visit Longhu Ancient Village and continue to Han Yu Memorial Hall. If it is closed on Monday, the Thai Buddha Hall is used as the alternative. Continue to Guangji Bridge and the Riverside Corridor before entering Chaozhou Ancient City.

Walk through Paifang Street and Jiadi Lane, visit Kaiyuan Temple and enjoy the historic atmosphere of one of Guangdong's best-known old cities. In the evening, experience a Chaoshan intangible-cultural-heritage stage production before returning to Shantou.

Day 4: Heritage Homes, Tea Culture & Old Shantou

Stroll through the Small Park arcade district, then visit the Chaoshan Cultural Museum. If the museum is closed on Monday, Shipao Fort Park is used instead. Continue to Queshi Scenic Area before finishing the day with a ferry ride across Shantou Inner Bay.
