Move from Chengdu's everyday rhythms to Buddhist and Taoist mountain landscapes, ancient engineering, giant pandas and the extraordinary archaeology of the Sichuan Basin.
Arrive at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport or your scheduled Chengdu railway station.

After breakfast, travel from Chengdu to Mount Emei.
Continue upward using the scenic-area shuttle and cable-car system to reach the Golden Summit.
Explore the high-altitude Buddhist setting around the summit and see the monumental Samantabhadra statue.
On clear days, the elevated location can offer expansive mountain views and dramatic cloud scenery, although visibility naturally depends on weather.
After sightseeing, descend to the planned mid-mountain area.
Overnight on Mount Emei.

After breakfast, descend from Mount Emei and continue to Leshan.
Visit the monumental Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into the cliff above the meeting point of three rivers.
Depending on the confirmed itinerary and local operating arrangements, experience the site either through the walking route for closer views or from the river for a broader perspective of the entire cliff carving.
In the afternoon, return to Chengdu.
Overnight in Chengdu.

After breakfast, leave Chengdu for Mount Qingcheng.
Explore the Front Mountain through forested paths and Taoist temples, experiencing the quieter spiritual character of the mountain.
Continue to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System and discover how this ancient water-management project regulates the Minjiang River and supports the Chengdu Plain.
In the evening, enjoy a walk around Nanqiao Bridge and the illuminated riverside area before returning to Chengdu.
Overnight in Chengdu.

After breakfast, visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and spend time observing giant pandas in the landscaped conservation and breeding facility.
Later, travel to Guanghan and visit Sanxingdui Museum.
Explore the distinctive archaeological discoveries associated with the ancient Shu civilization, including monumental bronze objects, masks and ritual artifacts.
Return to Chengdu in the evening for the scheduled Sichuan Opera performance, featuring traditional stage arts including the celebrated face-changing technique.
Overnight in Chengdu.

After breakfast, begin your final day at Kuanzhai Alley, where restored courtyards, teahouses, small shops and local eateries offer a final taste of Chengdu's traditional urban character.
Continue to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li for a contrasting look at contemporary Chengdu, with pedestrian streets, shopping and modern city life.
At the scheduled time, your private driver will transfer you to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport for departure.
Your six-day Sichuan journey comes to an end.

Mount Emei: summit visibility, cloud scenery and sunrise conditions depend on weather and cannot be guaranteed.

Mountain transportation: scenic-area shuttle buses, cable cars and operating routes may change according to weather, maintenance and local visitor-management requirements.
Panda Base & Sanxingdui: visitor schedules and admission arrangements should be confirmed according to the final travel date.
Departure: the supplied itinerary uses Chengdu Tianfu International Airport on Day 6. If your onward journey uses another airport or railway station, confirm the transfer in advance.
